Gocertify helps online retailers verify and reward shoppers with exclusive discounts. Our technology allows retailers to offer these discounts to shoppers based on their occupation (Healthcare, Teachers, Military), age (Youth and Senior) or action completed (a follow on social, donation or run on Strava).
We are already working with some of the UK’s biggest brands like; Kurt Geiger, Farfetch, Myprotein, Goldsmiths, Benefit Cosmetics and lots more.
🗞 The role
We’re looking to hire a Sales Development Representative who will be working closely with the sales team attracting new retailers to sign up to the platform. You will have a significant impact on the success of the business but will have dedicated training and support of the team.
Although this role is for a placement year, there will be the opportunity for a full-time role post university for someone who has excelled during their time with us – we’re rapidly growing so always on the lookout for talented and dedicated people.
💻 The day-to-day
- Reaching out to target retailers to generate interest in our tool
- Researching and connecting with all relevant stakeholders of target retailers
- Come up with creative solutions to getting in front of potential clients
- Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Maintain the company CRM and your sales pipeline, with timely and accurate details of your sales activities
- Develop a broad understanding of digital marketing technologies and topical developments from the digital marketing industry in order to provide your clients with informed and useful insights
- Be well versed in new and established technologies that are complementary to or that compete with gocertify
🤝 The must-haves
- A highly motivated individual with a strong desire to work in sales
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in native level English
- Confident and authoritative manner
- Enthusiasm for the new technologies and a desire to learn and continuously improve
- Being comfortable speaking to marketing agencies and directly to retailers (We will be there to support you!)
- Being able to make a customer smile, even from behind a phone or computer
- Able to take ownership of projects & meet deadlines
- Good organisational skills & the ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment where different hats are worn on any given day
