We're a rapidly growing but early-stage startup looking for someone to help us continue our growth. This role will focus on generating interest from our target customers - online retailers. As a small team, this position has unlimited potential for progression.

👋 The company

Gocertify helps online retailers verify and attract students, key workers, under-26s, over-60s and more with exclusive discounts.

Our tool uses first of its kind technology to 1) maximise a retailers conversion rate and 2) provide a seamless experience for online shoppers. This has helped us go from an idea to working with Kurt Geiger, Farfetch, Myprotein, Benefit Cosmetics and other large retailers in only 6 months. We're driving £millions in sales and whilst also saving Key Workers, Students and other groups huge amounts of money (We've helped give over £1,000,000 worth of discounts to Key Workers alone).

We're now looking to aggressively grow our client base and expand our footprint in the UK, US and other markets.

🗞 The role

We're looking for someone to lead sales development and be responsible for generating interest from our target customers - online retailers. Joining as one of the first hires this would be a high impact role. You would have the opportunity to completely own a sales strategy and help launch into new markets with a strong product and ambitious vision.

💻 The day-to-day

As an early-stage startup, you'll have a varied role, you could be doing any of the following:

  • Develop, coordinate, and execute multi-touch email, phone and LinkedIn campaigns to generate new business
  • Researching and connecting with all relevant stakeholders of target accounts e.g. Performance marketing, eCommerce, Digital
  • Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Come up with creative solutions to getting in front of potential clients
  • Working with the founder on go-to-market strategy for new products or countries

🤝 The must-haves

  • Sales or business development experience within an e-commerce related SaaS or affiliates
  • A highly motivated individual with a strong desire to work in sales
  • Experience of building a pipeline, attracting new business and achieving targets
  • Enthusiasm for the new technologies and a desire to learn and continuously improve
  • Experience with a sales CRM
  • Desirable - experience working directly with online retailers
  • Desirable - experience in a startup or an entrepreneurial spirit
