We're a rapidly growing but early-stage startup looking for someone to join the early team and have a big impact. This role will focus on generating interest from our target customers - online retailers. As a small team, this position has unlimited potential for progression and there is plenty of opportunities to close enterprise value contracts.

👋 The company

Gocertify helps online retailers verify and reward shoppers with exclusive discounts. Our technology allows retailers to offer these discounts to shoppers based on their occupation (Healthcare, Teachers, Military), age (Youth and Senior) or action completed (a follow on social, donation or run on Strava).

We are already working with some of the UK’s biggest brands like; Kurt Geiger, Farfetch, Myprotein, Goldsmiths, Benefit Cosmetics and lots more. And we’re looking for someone to help us go from 150 to 750 clients by the end of 2022.

🗞 The role

We're looking for someone to work closely with our New Partnerships Manager and be responsible for generating interest from our target customers - online retailers. Joining as one of the first hires this would be a high impact role. You would have the opportunity to completely own sales projects and help launch into new markets with a strong product and ambitious vision.

💻 The day-to-day

As an early-stage startup, you'll have a varied role, you could be doing any of the following:

  • Nurture a book of retailer and marketing agency contacts to generate demo bookings
  • Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities with your Manager
  • Conduct direct outreach to key individuals at relevant high-value prospects across e-mail, phone and LinkedIn
  • Pitching/running demos with booked prospects
  • Maintain the company CRM and your sales pipeline, with timely and accurate details of your sales activities
  • Negotiate contracts with your prospects and close business
  • Develop a broad understanding of digital marketing technologies and topical developments from the digital marketing industry in order to provide your clients with informed and useful insights
  • Take ownership of passion projects related to sales, marketing, operations or any other areas of interest within the business

🤝 The must-haves

  • Minimum one year experience in an SDR role or similar
  • A highly motivated individual with a strong desire to work in tech sales
  • Enthusiasm for learning about Marketing & E-commerce, new technologies and a desire to learn and continuously improve
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in native level English
  • Being comfortable speaking to marketing agencies and directly to retailers (We will be there to support you!) 
  • Able to take ownership of projects & meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment where different hats are worn on any given day
