👋 The company

Gocertify is a software startup that helps online retailers verify students, key workers, under-26s, over-60s and more for exclusive discounts.

In 10 months we've gone from zero to working with Kurt Geiger, Farfetch, Myprotein, Benefit Cosmetics and other large retailers. We're driving over £1 million in monthly sales whilst saving Key Workers, Students and other groups huge amounts of money (We've helped give over £1,000,000 worth of discounts to Key Workers alone).

We're now looking to aggressively grow our client base and expand our footprint in the UK, US and other markets.

🗞 The role

We're looking for someone to lead sales & new business. Joining as one of the first hires this would be a high impact role. You would have the opportunity to implement a scalable sales strategy and help launch into new markets with a strong product and ambitious vision. Whilst also building our sales team.

💻 The day-to-day

As an early-stage startup, you'll have a varied role, you could be doing any of the following:

  • Pitching, running demos and negotiating new business from warm leads
  • Helping build our go-to-market strategy for new products or countries
  • Selling a range of fixed-fee and affiliate packages directly to clients & affiliate marketing agencies
  • Building relationships with technology and agency partners
  • Discovering and connecting with all relevant stakeholders e.g. Performance, eCommerce, digital
  • Lead the charge in hitting our £1m annual run rate goal for 2021

🤝 The must-haves

  • 2-4 years sales experience within SaaS or affiliates
  • Experience closing 5 figure + B2B deals
  • 360 sales experience including generating and closing sales from cold outreach
  • A consultative approach, the ability to listen, understand and solve problems
  • Demonstrable track record of building a pipeline, while meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Experience with a sales CRM
  • A highly motivated individual who can come and add value to our team from day 1
  • Desirable - experience in a startup
