Overview

Cavu runs closed user group offers for for Peachy Parking, ParkSleepFly, and Escape Lounges across the UK and US. Airport parking is a heavily commoditised market, where shoppers actively hunt for discounts (NHS, military, key worker) across search engines and third-party code sites, and competitive pricing often plays a significant role. Demand existed already, but the challenge was making sure it converted with one of CAVU's brand rather than a competitor or a third-party code site ranking for the same terms.

Starting from a single military-discount use case on one brand, Cavu scaled with Gocertify into a multi-brand programme that surfaces verified, group-specific offers exactly where shoppers decide. It now drives £650k in annual revenue at a 49.3% verification-to-sale conversion rate, with offer revenue up 55% year-on-year and 28,000 contacts captured into CRM.

Background

Search "Manchester Airport Lounges", "Chicago O'Hare Airport Parking" or "Atlanta airport parking discount" and you're met with a wall of competing brands, code sites and discount-card platforms all chasing the same shoppers. The demand was there; the question was who converted it. The pressures the brands needed to solve:

  • Shoppers already on-site leaving without booking. High-intent traffic was landing on Cavu's brands but converting below where it should. There was no mechanism to surface the right group-specific offer at the point of decision and strengthen the booking mindset.
  • Losing eligible shoppers via discount-card platforms. Third party publishers promote offers for multiple brands, so shoppers comparing Cavu's offer against a rival's (e.g. £15 vs a competitor's £20) were converting with the competitor, producing low conversion on that channel.
  • Awareness gaps on new launches. Newer locations like the Edinburgh Escape Lounge needed stronger on-site awareness, surfacing the closed user group discount to encourage shoppers to book and test the new lounge.
  • A rented audience. Reliance on third-party sites, like voucher code sites, with no owned database to remarket to.

Strategy & Execution

Cavu and Gocertify built the programme up in deliberate stages, turning a single use case into a full closed user group strategy that now spans each brand. The foundation was always-on verified offers; the growth came from layering on new audiences, smarter placement and owned data.

  • Verified offers across every group. Always-on discounts for military, healthcare, students, teachers, seniors and first responders, with Gocertify as the only on-site verification provider.
  • Military-first, then expansion. The strongest-performing US group became the template for rolling new groups across new brands.
  • SEO-led discoverability. Verified offer pages now rank for high-volume discount terms; Peachy Parking holds the #1 ranking page for "Atlanta airport parking discount" directing that intent straight to its promotions page.
  • Moment-led boosting. Offers amplified around key calendar moments (military days, spring break, healthcare campaigns) by designing campaigns around the relevant verified segment.
  • Targeted On-Site Messaging: Surfaces the right group offer on specific airports and destinations to stop shoppers leaving and book them at the point of entry (e.g. the new Edinburgh Escape Lounge).
  • Automated abandonment recovery: DataCapture collects shopper details at the moment of verification, giving the brands the ability to build unique segments they can remarket to. Cavu brands send an automated basket abandonment email containing the shopper's unique discount code ~6 hours later to shoppers who verify but don't check out.

Special Requests & Integrations

Cavu uses the full range of Gocertify's tools together, on-site messaging targeted to specific airports and points in the booking journey, with verification data flowing straight into their own CRM to power retargeting.

  • Display rules: Bespoke post-search triggers show a higher-margin offer once a shopper has searched their booking, at the moment of highest intent.
  • Email-traffic exclusion: On-site Messaging is set to skip existing email traffic, so it adds incremental conversions rather than cannibalising bookings that would have happened anyway.
  • Webhook into bespoke CRM: Verifications feed Cavu's own software and trigger automated flows.

Results

The programme has turned traffic Cavu's was previously losing into a reliable, growing revenue stream with an owned-audience asset in the process.

  • £650k in annual revenue from verified offers through the affiliate channel, up 55% year-on-year as more groups and brands came online.
  • 49.3% verification-to-sale conversion across Cavu brands. Nearly half of verified shoppers go on to book.
  • Seniors (55+) = 39.5% of Peachy's offer verifications and students = 17% of verifications. These are high-value audiences Cavu wasn't previously targeting that now form a key part of their strategy.
  • 28,000 contacts captured into CRM, fed automatically via webhook and re-engaged through abandonment flows, reducing reliance on off-site marketplaces.
